Ringette Officials Clinics for Fall 2013
2013-09-28Officials clinic dates for new and returning officials have been set across PEI.
Quick reminder of the Officials clinic this Thursday at CARI starting at 4:30 PM - you need to register online ahead of time and do the online module (today or Monday is a great time to do that).
2013-2014 is a rule change season so all officials are required to take a course this season. All new officials and officials who first took a course last season are required to take the Level 1 clinic. This clinic will consist of an online component (to be completed prior to the classroom session), a classroom session, and and on-ice session.
The cost of the clinic is $45. Check with your local club to see if any portion of this cost is subsidized by the club. You must be 13 years of age as of October 1, 2013.
Level 1 clinics are scheduled:
Thursday, October 17th- 4:30pm-8:00pm classroom, 8:15pm-9:15pm on-ice, CARI, Charlottetown
NOTE- in order to register for the Level 1 clinic, you must complete an online pre-clinic session at www.officiatingringette.ca. Those who are already officials may be able to log in using their email address and their postal code as the password (all caps, no space). New officials will need to "register" a profile. Once logged in, under the "status" tab, there should be a box for "Level 1 Preclinic". If you click "register", it should take you immediately to the pre-clinic online information. Once the preclinic is completed, you can then register for the Level 1 clinic under the "clinics" tab. If you have any difficulties with this process, please contac the office at vvuillemot @ sportpei.pe.ca.
All other officials must take the Refresher Clinic. The cost of the clinic is $45. Check with your local club to see if any portion of this cost is subsidized by the club.
The Refresher Clinic is scheduled:
Saturday, October 19th- 11:00am-4:00pm, Room 236, Sport PEI, Charlottetown
To register for a clinic, contact Director of Officials, Dan Delaney, dandelaney @ eastlink.ca.
