The East Side Mario's Player of the Week for February 13 is Olivia Connolly from the U10 Purple Predators. Olivia is in her fourth year of ringette as well as her Mom, Laura, on the Mamas team! Olivia is in her first year of U10 and has been a goalie for the past 2 years (U8 & U10). We can not play the game of ringette without a goaltender of the ice (well ok, you can, but it more fun with someone in the net!). Here are a few highlights in her own words:
What do you like about your team?
Why do you like playing ringette?
I like playing ringette because I make new friends.

I like ringette because it is a team sport!
What do you like about your team?
I like my team because they are all team players and pass the ring to each other to score goals!! The Purple Predators are getting excited to go to Moncton!! Watch out!!!!!
Tell us about your favorite ringette moment:
My favorite moments were when my team won against the Montague Mustangs 3 times!
