The East Side Mario's Player of the Week for January 23 is Devyn David from the U8 Blue Rockets. Devyn is in her first year of ringette as a member of our growing (4) U8 teams this year. Charlottetown Ringette is growing at every level in numbers, skill and sportmanship. Here are a few highlights in her own words:
Why do you like playing ringette?
Because it is fun and you get to go to Moncton for a tournament.
What do you like about ringette?
I like my team and you get to score goals.
What do you like about your team?
They pass the ring and the girls are nice.
Tell us about your favorite ringette moment:
When I got my first goal.
What is your favorite part of practice?
I like to practice skating but its boring. I would rather play games.
What is your favorite part of playing games?
Skating fast to get the ring and having fun.
