U12 Provincial Development Team hits the ice October 13th

Are you an U12 ringette player looking for a little extra challenge? Looking to learn a few extra skills or just want more ice time, here's an opportunity to improve your game!
Ringette PEI is continuing with a modified development team at the U12 level this season. This will allow U12 athletes that are interested in higher performance and greater skill development to achieve that goal.
This team will be provide a basis for future athlete development with the Ringette PEI’s High Performance Program is meant to provide high level players with opportunities to further develop their ringette skills and to provide opportunities to compete with other ringette athletes from across Canada. RPEI encourages all athletes to strive to succeed and do their best. RPEI currently offers the High Performance Program for the U14, U16, and U19 divisions.

- First ice session on Saturday, October 13 at the Pownal Sports Centre at 8:00 AM with regular weekly ice time at 8:45 AM starting on October 20.
- Plan to attend the first 2 ice sessions on October 13 & 20 to allow the coaches to be able to evaluate the athletes and select team(s) if more than 15 players
- Athletes still need to register and play House League games & practices to be eligible and could be on the ice twice on Saturdays with this team as well as House League
- Coaches may arrange practices at other rinks across P.E.I.
- Self funded by team fundraising and parents with a maximum team budget of $5000 - average costs with no fundraising could cost approx $350.00 for the season.
- Restricted team travel - up to 2 trips to off island for games with no tournament play
