2012-2013 Charlottetown Ringette House League Registration Dates and Fees

Ringette season starts in early October with registrations starting on Sept 15. See you at the CARI Complex soon!
Ringette is a fast-paced ice-skating sport enjoyed by over 25,000 Canadian girls and women of all ages. Besides Canada, ringette is played on an organized basis in the United States, Finland, Sweden, France and Russia.
The rules ensure passing, skating and teamwork are part of every game. The game combines the fast break of basketball, the dexterity of lacrosse, the speed of hockey and the fitness of soccer. The sport has some similarities to hockey. It's played on ice with skates and sticks by six players on each of two teams. And the player's mission is to score goals by shooting the object of play into nets at either end of the rink during stop-time periods of play.
Charlottetown Ringette Association runs a program for players aged 5 - 35. Participants are divided in 6 divisions by age: U8 (5-7), U10 (8 - 9), U12 (10 - 11), U14 (12 - 13), U16U19 (14 -18) and OPEN (18-35). We play in leagues against other associations in locations such as Montague, Souris and Summerside and some off island tournaments.
Registration costs for 2012-13:
Registration will take place from September 15-30 with sessions held at the CARI Complex on Sept 15 (9 AM-12 noon), Sept 19 (6-8 PM) and Sept 23 (12 noon - 3 PM) with a Welcome Back BBQ and Social Night hosted on Wednesday, September 19 from 6-8 PM at the CARI Complex, UPEI
