As the ringette season winds down, we are heading into the playoffs and this can be a stressful time for the players, coaches, officials and yes, you the parent!! The Charlottetown and Area Ringette Association would like to remind everyone to that we want to create a positive, healthy and fun environment for all involved in ringette!
Let's show respect for the players, coaches, officials and the volunteers that make ringette happen in our province. One ringette mom sent this short summary of when "you" go to the rink (shortened from the full posting at the Cody Banks Arena) and I thought it would be great to share again with our membership at this time of the season.
When "you" go to the rink as a :
- Parent, support your child
- Coach, coach your team
- Player, play the game
- Ref, do your job
and remember to ask your player on the way home, Did you have fun today at the rink?
