The East Side Mario's Player of the Week for February 15 is from the U10 Ice Queens - Devon Costello is this week's recipient and sounds like she is having a blast in her first year of ringette.

Why do you like playing ringette?
I like to skate and a lot of girls play it. I get to make new friends too.
What do you like about ringette?
It's cool. I like everything about it, especially my friends.
What do you like about your team?
They are very friendly. Practice is fun too. We play a game after every practice. My team passes the ring to me. My coach gives us a team talk before each game and then we do a team cheer. It's fun. People bring treats and share.with each other. I made a treat once too. I really like ringette.
