The East Side Mario's Players of the Week for January 25 are teammates from the U10 Thunder Cats. Alexis Power and Emma MacNeil are this week's recipients and they are both having a great year on the ice.
We were able to catch up with Alexis and Emma last night following their big win against Souris.

How many years have you been playing ringette?
I started playing ringette when I was 4 1/2 years old and I've been playing ever since - I'm 9 years old now.
Why are you playing ringette?
Because it's fun!
What do you like about your team?
They are a lot of fun to hang out with.

Why are you playing ringette?
Why are you playing ringette?
I play ringette because it is really fun and a great way to keep active.
What do you like about the sport?
I like ringette because it is very fun and it teaches me new skills and gives me the opportunity to make new friends.
What do you like about your team?
I like how all my teammates are really nice and that we play as a team when we are on the ice. I also enjoy making new friends while playing a sport that is really fun.
