Welcome - 8th Annual Charlottet​own Thunder Ringette Tournament

The 8th Annual Charlottetown Ringette Tournament would like to thank you and welcome you to our largest tournament to date with 61 teams and over 850 athletes and over 250 managers and coaches. We hope you will enjoy your time in Prince Edward Island and your team will come and compete and have a wonderful experience at our tournament.

Our committee has worked hard on the tournament, but our biggest challenge every year is the schedule with trying to keep everyone happy. Travel, earlier morning games, late night games, games too close together and of course trying to have everyone play a team not from their area. These are all things we looked at to keep everyone happy (we know this cannot happen) and by doing this we have expanded to more hours on the third ice surface (Cody Banks, 58 Maple Ave. Charlottetown - 1 mile from the CARI Complex).

A few new ideas have been added to the tournament this year:

• come visit ACTION ALLEY between the 2 ice surfaces at the CARI Complex with 50/50, Bottle Cap Game, Face Painting, Rubber Wrist Bands and the famous Hospitality room
• Music from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday between whistles and during floods
• Rubber Wrist Band – “Charlottetown Thunder” on front side and “2012 Ringette Tourney” on back side
• Face Painting for Under 8 & Under 10

Arena locations - CARI Complex on the U.P.E.I. Campus and Cody Banks Arena at 58 Maple Ave. We are almost ready to see you in January and are looking forward to being your host for 4 wonderful days in Prince Edward Island January 12th -15th.
