U12 Goalie & Officials Course Friday

 

The Ringette House League season is underway for another year on P.E.I. and we have one U12 team that is currently short a dedicated goalie. Currently the team will be borrowing a goalie from another U12 team when available or calling up a goalie from the U10 Division to help with their games. Ideally, we would like to find another athelete to join their team based in the Charlottetown area. This could be a player who is playing hockey and looking for addtional ice time as a goalie. We are looking for an athlete aged 10-11 that will attend practices, league games and tournaments until the end of the season. Reduced registration fees for this goalie are available and costs can be discussed with Michael James, Charlottetown Ringette President.

Reminder to all of last year's Ringette Official from last season, that you need to be re-certified this year due to rule changes. Also, any one wanting to take the Level 1 Officials Course can attend this coming Friday PM at the CARI. 

 

Do you know someone that would love to help grow our sport of Ringette here in P.E.I. by becoming a Level 1 referee? With the recent resurgence of the sport across P.E.I., we are in need of additional referees in order to play the games safely.

 

For all officials that were certified last season or If you are interested in becoming certified as a ringette official for the first time, please contact Patrick Dean (email pdean70@hotmail.com) for more information and to register for the class. This course is now scheduled for Friday, November 11 at the CARI multipurpose from 1:00 to 6:00 PM

 

The cost is $45 for both courses and will be covered by Charlottetown Ringette if you are officiating our association’s home games.
