Welcome - Ringette Season Kicks off Tuesday!
2011-10-30The start of the season is just around the corner - let's have a fun season and remember why we are all here - our number one goal is to develop players!
On behalf of the Charlottetown Ringette Executive, I would like to welcome all members including parents, players, coaches, managers and officials to the 2011-2012 season.
Over the past 3 weeks we have been practicing as an organization and getting game schedules as well as working on practice schedules for the season. In the last week, the coaches and executive have been working on the makeup of the teams for the 2011-2012 season. In doing this, it has caused some anxiety for a few families within the ringette community. As an executive and coaches, this is the best we could do to make these teams as fair as possible in keeping in mind our number one goal is to develop players and have a fun environment within the sport of ringette.
During the season, I hope we all meet new friends and help develop our sport in P.E.I. as well as spread the good news of our growing sport.
Charlottetown is now the single largest ringette association in Atlantic Canada with 255 members with 52 new registrations this year alone.
This year we are proud to partner with East Side Mario’s and have Ringette Night in Charlottetown every Wednesday night with 5 games being played at the CARI Complex.
East Side Mario’s has not only financially supported Charlottetown Ringette but they will also be sponsoring the Player of the Week. This player will be randomly picked and will receive a $25.00 gift certificate for East Side Mario’s with their Player name and ringette background being display on our website for the week.
East Side Mario’s also has team specials for Charlottetown Ringette Teams, please check out our website for these specials.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this fall and winter at the CARI Complex, the official home of Charlottetown Ringette Association.
