This letter is an invitation to the very first selection camp of the Atlantic Attack team that will compete in the National Ringette League for the 2011-2012 season.
 
The first session of the camp will be August 27, 2011 at the Cocagne arena from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. It will consist of an information session, registration, testing and scrimmage. Each player attending the selection camp will be on the ice for a minimum of 5 hours. There is a $75.00 fee for the tryouts that will be collected at the first session.
 
To be eligible to play on this NRL team this season, athletes must be female and 18 years of age or older by December 31, 2011. According to league rules, there will be a maximum of 18 players on the team plus 7 affiliates.
 
The Atlantic Attack team will play 30 regular season games plus playoffs. The regular season games will be played on 9 weekends. The team will travel twice to Gatineau, once to Southern Ontario and to Ottawa. The season will start October 15, 2011. The top teams of the NRL will attend the Canadian Ringette Championships in Burnaby, BC in April 2012.
