Goaltender Development Starting October 27

Goaltending Development
Great opportunity for goalies to develop their skills and new goalies to learn basics. Come try goaltending!
ATTENTION U8, U10 and U12 Coaches, Current Goaltenders and especially Goaltenders to be….
Our goaltender development program is about to begin this Friday, October 27.
The practice times are as follows.
October 27th, November 10th, December 1st, December 15th, December 29th, January 19th, February 2nd and 23rd at the Bell Aliant Centre Rink B at 4:30pm.
The lead instructor is Danielle Saunders with assistance from Deanna Malone and Jeremy Godin who are currently U16/19 goalies.
The program is open to all goalies in the Charlottetown Ringette Association with a strong focus on the younger (u8/10/12) goalies, first year ringette goalies and even those who have expressed interest and have questions.
All coaches are welcome and encouraged to attend, to ask questions and learn some drills they can use to help with their own goaltender development as well during team practice sessions.
For those interested learning to try goaltending please contact Derek Bain at goaltenderdirector@charlottetownringette.com in advance as we will do our best to fit you with goaltending equipment.
Even if you just wanted to stop by for 10-15 minutes to ask the goalie coaches a question, you are more than welcome. This is your opportunity to take advantage of any questions you had and get the much needed practice between the pipes that is dedicated for our goaltender development.
Remember - you are not obligated or are required to play nets for any one team just by coming to these practices. Come try goaltending and see if it is the right position for you!
