Possible Fundraiser with City Police Athletics
2015-11-08Possible fundraiser for house league teams with City Police Athletics and CBMF
We have been asked to pair up with the City Police Athletics to do a fundraiser for the house league teams. It is not mandatory but looks like a great way to raise some funds to cover any expenses your teams may have! Below is the information on it.
In 2017, members of the Charlottetown Police Athletics will join thousands of others in competing at the 2017 World Police and Fire Games, an event that attracts more the 16,000 athletes from almost 70 countries competing in 67 sports. While the World Olympics are indisputably number one in terms of competitors attending, followed by the Asian Games, the WPFG rank third among international multidisciplinary sporting events in terms of number of entrants.
In order to ensure the success of this very important fundraiser, we are seeking teams within the Charlottetown Ringette Association to partner with the Charlottetown Police Athletics Committee in the efforts to attain our goals. Exciting opportunity for teams to fundraise, creating revenue for each individual team to offset costs involved in relation to operating costs. Proceeds raised will go directly toward the team involved, KidSport PEI and our committee.
