In Person Registration and Welcome Back BBQ Tonight

Reminder of tonights welcome back registration and BBQ at the CARI Rink at 6:00-8:00pm.  Bring along a friend and see some familiar faces from last year and enjoy the BBQ after you register!

The Charlottetown and Area Ringette Association runs a program for players aged 5 - 35. Athletes are divided into 7 divisions by age:

• U8 yr 1 (5-6)

• U8 yr 2 (6-7)  

• U10 (8-9)

• U12 (10-11)

• U14 (12-13)

• U16U19 (14-18)

• OPEN (18-35)

• Mamas (18 to ?)

 

We play in a house league against other associations in locations such as Montague, Souris, Summerside and Rustico with some local and off Island tournaments. Charlottetown has experienced a growth rate of 11 percent over the last 7 or 8 years with over 385 girls playing ringette in the Charlottetown area last season.

 

Come Try Ringette - Fun & Friendships Happen on Ice!

Are you new to the sport or have a friend that wants to try out Ringette for herself?  All you need is skates, a helmet (bike helmet is OK), and a warm pair of gloves. We will provide an hour of on-ice fun and activities for everyone  (ages 5-12) interested in trying this exciting sport. Registration Dates & Times / BBQ

Online registration will take place from Sept 1- Sept 30 with sessions held at the CARI Complex on:

• Sept 12th- 10 AM to 12 noon

• Sept 16th-  6-8 PM with a Welcome Back BBQ and Social Night

• Sept 19th- 12 noon to 2 PM (Come Try Ringette)

This season we will be taking cash or check paid registrations at these 3 sessions. Registration opens online Sept 1-30th with PayPal (Visa/MasterCard) through our self service website.  Please keep in mind there will be a $10 service fee for the use of the credit card online payments. And new this year we are accepting electronic transfers to registrar@charlottetownringette.com. Payments made via
e-transfers must be received by Sept 30, 2015.
Please follow your banking instituition instructions on how to send an e-transfer if you are unsure!
Registration and tax receipts will be confirmed by email once processed. There is no mail-in registration for the 2015-16 season.

Gym Ringette

Charlottetown Ringette will continue with Gym Ringette as part of our U8, U10 program for the upcoming season. Coaches can use this hour for team building and fun, running practices as well as games during this hour at Park Royal Church gym.

 

Ringette Mamas

Signup for the Ringette Mamas will take place with the regular registration. We are hoping again for a strong turnout.

• October 1st - Charlottetown House League PRACTICES BEGIN

• October 18th- Charlottetown Player draft with teams formed for U10-OPEN levels

• October 26th - House League Season GAMES BEGIN
